This position is responsible for improving the design, installation, maintenance and operation of all types of control devices and electronic accessories, working with production, administrative personnel, and vendors. Will work with computers, programmable logic controllers, electronic control devices, scanners and miscellaneous peripherals that support mill production.
Basic Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree preferred or must have at least two years of industrial experience with electronics, computers, and control systems, or have equivalent technical education. Must have a solid understanding/ability of troubleshooting electronic components and control systems. Must have the ability to write PLC programs and have a working knowledge of PC programs. Should be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work with a wide variety of personnel. Training of other personnel in electronic troubleshooting will be required. Must be willing to work extra hours as necessary and be on-call during off hours. Must be an advocate of process control and total quality.
Preferred Qualifications: Wood Products experience a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
